BNSF Railway Co. recently appointed Mark Kotter vice president of customer integration. He will be responsible for restructuring the railroad’s carload network.
Most recently regional VP-central operations, Kotter joined BNSF in 1974. He previously served as assistant VP-operations north, AVP-coal operations, division superintendent, superintendent of operations, trainmaster, superintendent and assistant superintendent.
“Mark and his team will be focused on collaborative solutions with our customers to reduce complexity, enhance capacity, reduce cost and improve service reliability at the local plant level,” said BNSF Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer Carl Ice in a prepared statement.
