BNSF Railway Co. recently appointed John Williams general manager of the Kansas Division to succeed Steve Curtright, who's now GM of the Gulf Division.
Williams most recently served as assistant vice president of signals. His previous positions at BNSF include director of signals and general director of line maintenance.
BNSF also promoted Jim LeVere from general director of line maintenance to AVP of signals to succeed Williams. Since joining BNSF in 1979, LeVere also has served as senior planning engineer, signal supervisor, manager of signals and director of signals-northern lines.
