Another Beaudoin will assume the top post at Bombardier Inc. Today, the company announced it named Pierre Beaudoin president and chief executive officer, effective June 4, 2008. He will transition into the leadership role during the next six months and succeed current CEO Laurent Beaudoin, who will remain chairman.
Pierre Beaudoin has served Bombardier for 22 years, most recently as president and chief operating officer of Bombardier Aerospace, executive vice president of Bombardier Inc. and a member of the Office of the President. He previously held various positions with other Bombardier divisions, including president and COO of Bombardier Recreational Products, and EVP and president of Sea-Doo/Ski Doo.
