Earlier this month, Maryland Midland Railway Inc.’s board appointed David Bordner president and chief executive officer to succeed Paul Denton, who retired June 30.
Most recently senior vice president and chief operating officer, Bordner joined the 63-mile short line in 1994 as chief financial officer.
The railroad also announced Director of Marketing Barbara Denton retired on July 10, ending her eight-year Maryland Midland and 38-year rail industry careers. In addition, the short line named Jonathan Rudman director of business development. He most recently served DSC Logistics in various capacities.
