TNW Corp. has appointed Jeremy Bush superintendent of railway operations for two of its short lines: TXGN Railway and TXR Railway.

He will report to TNW Director of Railway Operations Bobby Franklin and be responsible for the railroads’ day-to-day operations, as well as training and managing employees, enforcing safety, fostering community partnerships and providing responsive customer service.

Most recently, Bush was manager of operating practices at the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad. He has 17 years of rail industry experience, including stints as a trainmaster, terminal superintendent and division trainer for Norfolk Southern Railway. Bush is a certified conductor and experienced hazardous materials training.

"Jeremy … understands what is required to successfully manage and operate TXGN and TXR, and his relationships with Class I carriers will help us continue to grow," said Franklin in a press release.

TNW owns and operates three short lines, three transload facilities and a rail-car storage facility.
