CN, KCS make top management changes

Yesterday, CN announced several personnel changes affecting the senior marketing team.
The Class I appointed:
• Keith Reardon, most recently vice president of supply chain solutions, vice president of intermodal services;
• Vee Kachroo, most recently VP of industrial products, VP of supply chain solutions;
• Doug MacDonald, most recently VP of corporate marketing, VP of industrial products; and
• Fiona Murray, most recently assistant VP of industrial products, VP of corporate marketing.
In addition, VP of Intermodal Paul Waite will retire after serving CN for more than 38 years. He will serve as senior adviser until year’s end. James Cairns will continue to serve as VP of petroleum and chemicals, and Andy Gonta will remain VP of bulk, CN officials said in a prepared statement.
Meanwhile, Kansas City Southern announced it appointed Michael Naatz senior vice president and chief information officer. He will report to President and Chief Executive Officer David Starling.
Naatz most recently was president of USF Holland. Since USF was acquired by YRCW in 2005, he held the position of chief information and service officer, and filled customer service and enterprise management leadership roles. Prior to the acquisition, Naatz held similar positions at USF for more than 11 years. He has 18 years of transportation industry experience.
“[His] extensive transportation leadership experience will enhance our information technology efforts and business planning capabilities,” said Starling in a prepared statement.
