CN appoints Reporter VP of government, regulatory affairs

CN has named Cyrus Reporter — a lawyer and public policy professional — vice president of government and regulatory affairs.

Reporter will oversee the Class I’s engagement with governments at all levels across North America, according to a CN news release.

For the past 25 years, Reporter has served as a ministerial chief of staff, a lead adviser to the Office of the Prime Minister, and, most recently, as a partner at a national law firm, where he provided counsel on regulatory affairs, public policy and corporate compliance.

Reporter will also assume stakeholder and community relations responsibilities at CN.
