CPKC adds Hernandez to its board

Canadian Pacific Kansas City has named Arturo Gutirerez Hernandez to its board effective Nov. 1.

Gutierrez, 58, of Monterrey, Mexico, has been CEO of Arca Continental – the second largest Coca Cola bottler in Latin America – since January 2019, according to a CPKC press release.

He also served as deputy CEO before his appointment to CEO. Prior to his time at Arca, Gutierrez held several leadership positions, including chief operating officer and director at the Mexico Beverages Division. He has over 23 years of experience in leadership roles.

"The addition of Arturo adds to the extensive, diverse experience of our board, bringing a seasoned chief executive who has spent decades living and working in Mexico," said CPKC Chair Isabelle Courville.
