CSX's Korn named 'best' investor relations professional

Matthew Korn, head of investor relations and strategy at CSX, has been recognized as Best Investor Relations Professional in the transport sector by Institutional Investor as part of its 2024 All-American Equities Awards.

Since joining CSX in 2021, Korn has played a key role in developing and implementing the Class I's investor relations strategy, CSX officials said in a press release. Korn oversees external financial reporting, tracking service measures and enhancing investor engagement. His career includes 15 years as a Wall Street research analyst at Goldman Sachs and Barclays covering a range of industrial and materials companies. Prior to his tenure at CSX, Korn held a senior investor relations role at ADP.

The All-American Equities Awards, presented annually by Institutional Investor Research (IIR), recognizes the investment community’s best analysts, companies and investment firms. These awards are determined through the votes of more than 4,200 investment professionals.
