Cleveland RTA board elects Clough, Lucas to leadership roles

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority's (GCRTA) board has elected Dennis Clough as president and Charles Lucas as vice president.

Each will serve a one-year term, GCRTA officials said in a press release.

Clough, the agency's longest serving board member, was elected vice president in 2011. He is mayor of Westlake, Ohio.

Lucas serves as vicar of St. James AME Church in Cleveland. He is past president of the Cleveland Chapter of the NAACP. He also chairs GCRTA's organizational, services and performance monitoring committee.

GCRTA's board elected the new leaders after former president George Dixon III resigned.
