Cubic Transportation Systems Inc. recently promoted Dave Lapczynski to chief operating officer.

He will oversee all of the company’s programs, engineering and manufacturing. A Cubic executive for more than 20 years, Lapczynski most recently served as senior vice president of manufacturing. He previously held management positions in the operations, engineering, quality control and service departments.

"Dave brings a focused vision and solutions-oriented approach that will steer the company’s core operations and execute our customer focus," said Richard Johnson, Cubic’s president and chief executive officer, in a prepared statement.
