BNSF Railway Co. has named Steve Curtright general manager of the Gulf Division to succeed John Klaus, who is leaving the railroad.
Curtright, who joined BNSF in 1979, has served as GM of the Kansas Division since September 2005. His previous positions include assistant trainmaster, trainmaster, assistant superintendent, division superintendent, superintendent of network operations and general director of transportation for the Kansas Division.
The Gulf Division includes portions of BNSF's network in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
