Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Chair Michele Wong Krause will receive the 2022 "Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation Award" from the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO).
The award recognizes women in transportation who provide inspirational leadership by opening career pathways for other women, DART officials said in a press release.
COMTO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing minorities and other underrepresented groups in the transportation industry. It has 35 chapters in the United States and Canada.
Wong Krause will be honored March 16 at an awards breakfast.
