The Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) board has named Jonathan Kelly to represent Garland, Texas.
Kelly, who is a vice president at Northern Trust Co., has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He also serves on the tax increment financing board for Garland and is a member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council. Kelly previously was director of business development-trusts for Principal Financial Group/Principal Trust Co., as well as a senior VP at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.Kelly replaces Michael Cheney, who joined the board in 2011.The Downtown Garland Station is served by the northeast segment of DART Rail's Blue Line, as well as several bus routes. In addition, the city is home to DART's Forest/Jupiter Station, which also is served by the Blue Line.
