Delta Railroad Services (DRS) has appointed Linda Laurello CEO. She succeeds Larry Laurello, who served more than 40 years with the company.
Larry Laurello will remain involved with the Ashtabula, Ohio-based company’s business development efforts, according to a DRS news release.
Linda Laurello has spent more than 20 years working at DRS in various project management, field and financial-oversight roles. Most recently, she served as the company’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
In 2014, Laurello was named “VIP Professional Woman of the Year for Leadership in Business” by the National Association of Professional Women.
“My vision for the next generation of Delta Railroad Services will focus on innovation, expansion and visibility," said Linda Laurello. "We will continue the legacy of excellence in client services that my great-grandfather, Cosmo Anthony Laurello, started when he founded the company in 1957.”
