The Denver Regional Transportation District's (RTD) board has elected Doug Tisdale chair for 2018.Tisdale, who is the former mayor of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, currently serves as president of law firm Tisdale & Associates LLC.Tisdale joined RTD's board as a director in November 2016. He represented District H, which covered Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Centennial, Littleton, Columbine Valley and Highlands Ranch, Colorado. As chair, Tisdale said he will continue expanding communication and collaboration among the agency's board members, senior leadership team, constituents, partners and stakeholders.Meanwhile, Natalie Menten was elected first vice chair; Barbara Deadwyler, second vice chair; Claudia Folska, secretary; and Judy Lubow, treasurer.RTD is governed by a 15-member, publicly elected board. Directors are elected to four-year terms and represent specific districts within the agency's service area.Board members annually elect officers to serve on the executive committee.
