Denver RTD's board names Tobiassen chair

The Regional Transportation District of Denver's (RTD) board has elected Tom Tobiassen chairman for 2016.
He takes over for Chuck Sisk, who served as chair for the past two years and did not seek an officer position this year, RTD officials said in a press release.
A systems engineer with Zeta Associates Inc., Tobiassen was first elected to RTD's board in November 2008.
Additionally, the board elected Larry Hoy as first vice chair, Barbara Deadwyler as second vice chair, Paul Solano as secretary and Tina Francone as treasurer.
