Yesterday, Florida East Coast Railway L.L.C. (FECR) announced it appointed Todd Biscan assistant vice president of sales.
Most recently AVP of sales for FECR's intermodal and highway services, Biscan now will lead the regional's sales team for both carload and intermodal sales. An eight-year FECR veteran, he has more than 20 years' experience in the rail industry.
Meanwhile, RailAmerica Inc. — which like FECR is owned by Fortress Investment Group L.L.C. — earlier this week named Clyde Preslar chief financial officer.
Most recently executive vice president and CFO for Cott Corp., Preslar has more than 25 years' experience in corporate finance, including 12 years as a CFO of publicly traded companies. He previously served as VP and CFO for Lance Inc.
RailAmerica owns and operates 41 regionals and short lines in 23 states and three Canadian provinces.
