GE Rail Services adds Emro, Schitter to management staff

Yesterday, GE Rail Services announced it appointed Todd Emro vice president of petrochemical services and Tim Schitter, strategic account manager for rail services.

Emro will be responsible for North American petrochemical leasing sales and services. Most recently senior VP and chief commercial officer for tank-car leasing firm PLM Transportation Equipment Corp., he previously served as VP and managing director of fleet management for rolling stock lessor GATX Rail.

Schitter will be responsible for leasing sales and services in the food, agricultural and mineral markets. Most recently SVP of sales for Trinity Rail, he previously held various management positions at Union Tank Car Co.

GE Rail Services manages a fleet of more than 185,000 rail cars serving the petroleum and chemical industries, and offers a suite of financial services, including full-service and net leases.
