GE Rail Services recently named Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Klein executive vice president, global sales and services.
She most recently served as vice president and healthcare industry executive for GE Medical Systems. Klein joined GE in 1979, serving in GE Medical Systems' technical marketing program.
In 1997, she moved to Paris to serve as general manager of CT sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2001, she was named president and chief executive officer, Americas equipment sales.
"Beth brings an exceptional track record of executing strategic sales and marketing plans, and driving strong business results," said GE Rail Services CEO Oscar Groomes in a prepared statement.
A rail-car and intermodal-equipment lessor serving North American railroads and businesses, GE Rail Services controls a fleet of more than 185,000 cars, and 150,000 intermodal containers, trailers and chassis.
