Georgetown Loop Historic Mining and Railroad Park operator Railstar Corp. recently named Peter Gores general manager.
Gores has more than 30 years’ experience in the railroad industry, including stints as general manager of both freight and tourist roads. He most recently served as general manager of the Mohawk, Adirondack & Northern Railroad.
In September 2004, the Colorado Historical Society awarded Railstar Corp. a contract to operate the historic train this year.
