At its annual meeting held earlier this week, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority re-elected two board leaders to serve one-year terms.

Cleveland businessman George Dixon III was re-elected to his 13th term as board president. The agency’s longest-serving board leader, he joined the board in 1992. Dixon also is past chair of the American Public Transportation Association and a member of the Conference of Minority Transit Officials.

The board also elected Beverly Burtzlaff to her sixth term as vice president. She’s served on the board since 1996.
