HNTB Corp. names top managers

Engineering firm HNTB Corp. recently appointed several executives to vice president posts.
The firm named Jim Riley senior vice president. He most recently served as national director of transportation services and has managed HNTB’s three Ohio offices for the past four years.
The company also named John Bourne, Barton Drake, John Friel and John Parola vice presidents.
Bourne most recently served as project manager for the Trans-Texas Corridor project. Before joining HNTB in 2002, he served the Utah Department of Transportation.
An HNTB employee for the past 20 years, Drake most recently served as northwest regional operations manager. An 11-year HNTB emplyoee, Friel most recently managed the firm’s Detroit and Lansing, Mich., offices. Finally, Parola has provided design services to Long Island Rail Road and the Delaware River Port Authority since joining HNTB in 2002.
The firm also named 11 associate vice presidents.
