Last month, Frank Wilson — former president of AECOM Enterprises — replaced the retiring Shirley DeLibero as president and chief executive officer of Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (METRO). Now, Wilson has promoted two vice presidents to help him lead the organization.
Vice President of Planning, Engineering and Construction John Sedlak was named executive vice president. He has been responsible for developing the Houston-area transit system, coordinating service and implementing capital programs. Prior to joining METRO, Sedlak helped plan, design, construct and operate Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority’s system.
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Arndt was named senior vice president, operations. He joined METRO in 1980 and has been responsible for vehicle and facility maintenance, transportation, safety and training, and labor relations.
