Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas, recently named its rail operations center to honor President and Chief Executive Officer Shirley DeLibero, who is retiring April 30.
Housing the METRORail administration, operations, maintenance and repair offices, the building now will be known as the Shirley A. DeLibero Rail Operations Center.
DeLibero spent more than five years with the agency. Frank Wilson, who most recently served as president of international engineering and construction management consulting firm AECOM Enterprises, will succeed her as president and CEO.
