The Chicago Transit Authority board has appointed Ron Huberman president. Last month, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley recommended Huberman for the top post.
Daley’s chief of staff for the past two years, Huberman previously served as executive director of the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications.
He will succeed Frank Kruesi, who recently resigned after serving more than nine years as the authority’s president.
