Iowa Pacific adds Hammond to VP ranks, promotes Lindsey to director post
Iowa Pacific Holdings L.L.C. has appointed Timothy Hammond regional vice president of operations for the Permian Basin Railways unit, effective Nov. 10.
He will report to Executive VP of Operations Mike McConville, and oversee all aspects of operations for the 111-mile Texas-New Mexico Railroad and 140-mile West Texas & Lubbock Railway.
Hammond most recently was a regional leader for Railserve Inc. He previously held senior operations management positions with several short lines and CSX Transportation.
Iowa Pacific also promoted Kurtis Lindsey from general superintendent of the Texas-New Mexico Railroad to director of Permian Basin logistics. He reports to EVP of Marketing Steve Gregory.
Lindsey has served Iowa Pacific for the past six years, including various operating posts at the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad. He now will be responsible for customer facility planning at the two Texas short lines, as well as managing all aspects of local customer relationships.
"These positions reflect an expansion of our management focus in the Permian Basin, and highlight our commitment to customer service and business development," said Iowa Pacific President Ed Ellis in a press release.
Iowa Pacific also owns the Chicago Terminal Railroad, Mass Coastal Railroad, Mount Hood Railroad, Rusk Palestine & Pacific Railroad, San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad, Santa Cruz & Monterey Railway and Saratoga & North Creek Railway.
