KCS appoints Osterberg VP, comptroller

On Jan. 28, Kansas City Southern named Mark Osterberg vice president and comptroller, effective Feb. 9.
He most recently served as a consultant for a number of clients, including Sun Country Airlines. With 15 years' transportation industry experience, Osterberg previously spent nine years with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, where he audited public and private companies, and served in various senior financial positions for Sun Country, Norton Motorcycles, Northwest Airlines and Braniff.
"Mark's diverse background in both 'Big Four' public accounting and publicly held transportation companies provides a firm base for financial performance and solid financial reporting," said KCS Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Ronald Russ in a prepared statement.
