On Friday, Kansas City Southern announced it appointed Patrick Ottensmeyer executive vice president and chief financial officer for KCS, and Julio Quintero, controller for Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V.
KCS also promoted Susan Wollenberg to VP of financial planning and administration and T. Nicholas Nocita, to assistant VP of international internal audit and financial compliance. In addition, KCS announced former EVP and CFO Ronald Russ, and VP and comptroller James Brook have left the company.
Most recently CFO of Intranasal Therapeutics Inc., Ottensmeyer previously served as VP of finance and treasurer for BNSF Railway Co. and senior VP for Bank of America. Most recently controller-Mexico and Central America for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Quintero previously was controller for Baxter International and treasurer for Daimler-Chrysler in Mexico City.
Wollenberg had been serving as interim chief accounting officer since joining KCS in April. She previously was CFO for E.W. Blanch Holdings Inc. and held various financial positions, including manager of strategic investments and second vice president, at GE Capital Services.
Finally, Nocita has held various financial positions since joining KCS in 1998, most recently general director of financial compliance. He previously spent nine years as a certified public accountant in Kansas City, Mo.
