KCS elevates Scott to VP in accounting department

Kansas City Southern has promoted Edward Scott from assistant vice president to vice president of capital investment accounting.
Prior to joining The Kansas City Southern Railway Co. in 2006, he spent eight years in various general and capital investment accounting roles at BNSF Railway Co. Scott previously served as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, accounting manager for a Deloitte & Touche client and director of finance for a government entity.
