Kansas City Southern recently named Fred Uzzell assistant vice president, financial systems. In the newly created position, he will be responsible for assessing, refining and implementing best practices to improve the railroad's accounting processes.
Uzzell most recently served Bank Card Central Inc. as chief financial and operating officer. He has more than 15 years' senior management experience in cost management, process workflow enhancement, tactical planning, shared services process development, and domestic and international systems implementation.
