Kansas City Southern recently promoted two executives in its Information Technology department.
The Class I promoted F. Daniel Hall from director, business solutions delivery to assistant vice president, business solutions and IT to lead the railroad’s IT product development and delivery. Hall, who has more than 22 years’ IT experience, joined The Kansas City Southern Railway Co. (KCSR) in 1997. He previously served in various technology roles at American Century, Yellow Freight and DST Systems Inc.
KCS also promoted Richard Stones from director, enterprise solutions to assistant vice president, technology solutions to lead the railroad’s IT enterprise architecture and infrastructure. Prior to joining KCSR in 1998, he served in various IT roles at Anderson Consulting and Sprint.
Both Hall and Stones have responsibilities in the United States and Mexico, and report to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Scott Arvidson.
