Kohut out, McManaman in as Global Railway's chief exec

Yesterday, Global Railway Industries Ltd. announced it appointed Terry McManaman president and chief executive officer to succeed Michael Kohut, who was terminated on Monday. The company also named Phil Ogden chairman.

A current member of Global Railway’s board, McManaman has 24 years’ experience in the railroad industry.

Retired from Norfolk Southern Railway — most recently as senior vice president of engineering — Ogden has 37 years of rail industry experience.

Through subsidiaries Rafna Industries Ltd., G&B Specialties Inc., YSD Industries Inc., Bach-Simpson Corp. and Prime Railway Services, Global Railway supplies rail-car doors, event recorder monitoring/control systems, train speedometers, track and signal components, and rail gear.
