Loftus to head TTX's law department

TTX Co. recently promoted Patrick Loftus to vice president of law and government affairs. After assuming the post July 1, he will continue to serve as corporate secretary.
Loftus has served in TTX's law department for more than 18 years, most recently as general counsel and corporate secretary. He previously served as a trial attorney for Chicago law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson.
Responsible for TTX's governmental affairs at federal and state levels, Loftus successfully represented the company in numerous legal proceedings, according to a prepared statement.
Owned by North America's nine largest railroads, TTX owns and operates a fleet of more than 152,000 intermodal, automotive and other rail cars.
