MARTA elects next year's directors

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority recently named next year’s board officers, who will serve one-year terms.

The authority elected Edmund Wall, managing director of Knox Wall & Co. chairman; Walter Kimbrough, senior pastor at Cascade United Methodist Church, vice chairman; Juanita Jones Abernathy, community activist and civil rights leader, secretary; and J. Thomas Kilpatrick, partner at Alston & Bird, treasurer.
