The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has named Raj Srinath chief financial officer, and Patricia Lucek, assistant general manager of labor and employee relations.

Srinath previously served as deputy general manager and CFO of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority in California. He has also worked in the financial departments of Amtrak and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in Washington, D.C. He assumes his new post Jan. 25.

Yesterday, Lucek filled the newly created position of assistant GM of labor and employee relations, which was formed through a consolidation and reorganization of MARTA’s senior management, MARTA officials said in a press release.

Lucek has managed collective bargaining agreements and contract negotiations for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Co. LLC.
