McAllister joins Pittsburgh port authority as planning director

The Port Authority of Allegheny County recently named Jim McAllister director of strategic and extended range planning.
He most recently served as transportation planning director of Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm ATCS, where he oversaw planning strategies for large transit and parking projects in the D.C./northern Virginia area.
McAllister previously was transportation director for the Susquehanna Economic Development Association Council of Governments.
