Miami-Dade County representatives join South Florida RTA's board

The Miami-Dade County Commission recently elected Bruno Barreiro and Neisen Kasdin to serve as the county’s representatives on the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority board.
A Miami-Dade County commissioner, Barreiro chairs the county’s General Obligation Bond Committee and Office of Public Transportation Management Subcommittee, and serves as vice chairman of the Internal Management and Fiscal Responsibility Committee. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives.
An attorney at Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., Kasdin is chairman of the firm’s Urban Development Group. He previously served as commissioner for the city of Miami Beach and as the city’s mayor between 1997 and 2001.
