Mitsui Rail Capital L.L.C. recently appointed three executives to support the growth of its rail-car fleet and management services.

The company named Dan Linklater director of sales and marketing to manage accounts in the central United States and Canada. For the past 10 years, he has served in various sales and marketing capacities at Bombardier Capital Rail. He previously held sales and marketing positions with Thrall Car Manufacturing Co. and Transcisco Industries.

Mitsui also appointed David Kerr director of marketing. With 14 years’ industry experience, he has served in various marketing and economic analyses positions with GATX Rail and the Chicago and North Western Railway.

Finally, the firm named Mike Sbragia manager of fleet operations to oversee lease execution and customer service. For the past seven years, he has held various fleet management positions with GATX Rail Logistics and Alltranstek.

Mitsui Rail Capital provides rail-car leasing, and fleet management and maintenance services to the North American transportation market. The company manages a fleet of about 10,000 cars.
