Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway Ltd. (MM&A) recently named Frederic Yocum Jr. vice president of finance and administration, and chief financial officer; Gaynor Ryan, VP of human resources; and Kelley Carter, assistant VP of finance and administration.

Yocum will step down as the railroad's vice chairman to serve in his new position. A 37-year rail industry veteran, he previously served as president of MM&A predecessor Bangor & Aroostook System, and held various positions at CSX Transportation, Chicago & North Western Railway, and Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd.

Ryan previously served the Bangor & Aroostook System for nine years before becoming MM&A's manager of human resources when the railroad was launched in January 2003. Carter served Bangor & Aroostook for six years before becoming assistant treasurer, and director of budgets and administration at MM&A's start up.
