Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway Ltd. (MMA) recently appointed Robert Lane chief engineer-communications and signals.
Since 1989, Lane served as Union Pacific Railroad's manager of signal maintenance in the Chicago area. He has more than 30 years' experience in railroading, including stints as a signal assistant, signal foreman and manager of signal projects-East/West mainline at the Chicago and North Western Transportation Co.
The 745-mile MMA operates lines in Maine, Vermont, New Brunswick and Quebec.
