New York City Economic Development Corp. (NYCEDC) recently named Carl Morey vice president and engineering audit officer.
He will be responsible for overseeing more than $2.5 billion in NYCEDC capital program expenditures, including rail improvement projects in lower Manhattan, transit projects at Yankee and Shea stadiums, and the High Line West Side Improvement Program, which calls for restoring an elevated rail structure.
Morey has 30 years’ rail industry experience and has held various positions at Bechtel Infrastructure, HDR Engineering and Conrail.
