The North Carolina Railroad Co. this week announced Chris Dillon has been hired as vice president of government affairs.
Most recently, Dillon was the senior assistant county manager for Wake County, North Carolina, where he supervised transportation, economic development, workforce development and elections.
Previously, Dillon directed governmental affairs for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
“[Dillon] brings a wealth of experience ranging from transportation, economic development and government relations, and his expertise will play a significant role with developing partnerships within our local communities," said NCRR President and CEO Carl Warren in a press release.
