NMB names Beebe mediation services director
The National Mediation Board (NMB) yesterday announced that Christopher Beebe has been named director of mediation services.
Beebe succeeds Michael Kelliher, who most recently served as acting director of mediation services and will continue to serve at the NMB as mediator.
As the director of mediation services, Beebe has overall responsibility for the administration and management of the NMB Mediation programs to assist in the negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, resolution of minor disputes through grievance mediation, and training and utilization of Alternative Dispute Resolution in the airline and railroad industries.
Beebe has more than 35 years of labor relations experience including contract negotiations and mediation, and in grievance and discipline representation. He has had numerous union leadership positions in the United States.
