Norfolk Southern Corp. Vice President of Public Affairs Bruno Maestri is taking on additional duties. Today, he assumes responsibility for the railroad’s federal, state and local legislative and regulatory activities. Maestri also will direct NS’ network of resident vice presidents, who oversee state government affairs.
Reporting to Executive Vice President of Finance and Public Affairs James Hixon, Maestri is assuming the duties of Senior VP of Public Affairs John Corcoran, who recently retired after serving NS for 43 years.
Since joining the Class I in 1995 as chief environmental officer, Maestri also has served as assistant vice president of public affairs.
