Norfolk Southern Corp. last week selected Nabanita Nag, Jason Morris and Wai Wong to serve on its executive leadership team starting July 1.

Nag will serve as executive vice president and chief legal officer. She joined the Class I in August 2020 as general counsel corporate, and became senior VP and chief legal officer in March. In her new role, Nag will oversee the law, government relations and audit and compliance departments, as well as the corporate secretary’s office. Prior to joining NS, she served as VP and corporate counsel in the financial management law group at Prudential Financial.

Morris now will serve as VP of law. He joined NS in 2010 to handle safety, labor and employment issues in the law department, and later moved to the safety and environmental department as system director of safety. Morris was promoted to assistant VP in 2018 and became VP of labor relations last year. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was previously a legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Wong now will serve as VP of labor relations. He joined the railroad in 2015 as assistant general solicitor, then served in various roles in counsel, technology and strategic communications. He currently serves as AVP of human resources. Prior to joining the Class I, Wong was an associate attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
