National Steel Car appoints Pickel regional VP of marketing, sales

National Steel Car Ltd. recently named Robert Pickel Jr. regional vice president of marketing and sales, National Steel Car N.A. Inc.

A more than 25-year railroad industry veteran, Pickel most recently served Flex Leasing Corp. as vice president-operations. He previously served in various management positions for Conrail, Southern Pacific Railroad, USL Capital, and R.L. Banks & Assocs. Inc.

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, National Steel Car manufactures rail cars, including box, centerbeam, coil, hopper and intermodal cars.
