Tri County Rail Co. L.L.C. recently named co-founders Greg Henninger, Robert Peterson and George Rupert president, vice president of business development and VP of operations, respectively.
Formed in February, Tri County Rail — a minority certified rail-services division of transportation and supply-chain management firm The Hollingsworth Group of Cos. — offers various transportation and supply-chain services, including industrial rail switching and warehousing.
Henninger most recently served a third-party logistics firm as head of automotive product offerings, which entailed rail management, reverse logistics and container management. He previously served Burlington Northern Railroad and Burlington Northern Santa Fe for 10 years in a variety of capacities, including operations (field and network), marketing, logistics, service design and measurement reporting.
Peterson and Rupert most recently served an automotive industry lead-logistics provider for three and 10 years, respectively, in various management positions. Rupert previously served a private truckload carrier in various capacities.
