North Shore Railroad names three to new posts

North Shore Railroad Co. (NSHR) recently announced three promotions at the short-line holding company based in Northumberland, Pa.

Todd Hunter was promoted from marketing director to chief marketing officer. He has 20 years of experience with NSHR, according to an American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association newsletter.

Joseph Kantz was promoted to business and development manager. Kantz's work at the company has been "instrumental" in development new business on the North Shore, Shamokin Valley and Union County Industrial railroads, according to the announcement.

The company also promoted Loni Martz Briner to public relations and media manager. She leads the company's efforts to modernize and coordinate electronic media and public relations.
