OmniTRAX hires former KCS VP Howard

OmniTRAX Inc. has tapped Kayden Howard to serve as senior vice president of health, safety and environmental programs.

In the newly created role, Howard, a former executive at Kansas City Southern, will lead all safety, environmental and sustainability activities for the OmniTRAX rail network.

"Kayden Howard is a widely respected industry leader, and her expertise will play a key role in shaping the end-to-end health, safety and environmental programs that will scale with our growth," said OmniTRAX President and COO Sergio Sabatini in a press release.

During her time as a vice president at KCS, Howard achieved a record that earned industry-best safety ratings, OmniTRAX officials said. She implemented comprehensive prevention, preparedness and response strategies that directly reduced operational risks and optimized employee and public safety, they added.

"I'm excited to join this talented team and help build an enduring legacy of industry-leading safety and environmental performance," Howard said.
